Govanhill Free Church of Scotland | The Welcome Project Drop In
The Welcome Project is a drop in for the local community. It is run by the charity Cross Roads and is staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers from the congregation. We provide a light lunch of vegetarian soup and sandwiches. There are a variety of facilities available such as laptops with internet access, sewing machines and embroidery and knitting equipment with a beautiful array of fabrics, wool and thread. There are people from all different backgrounds and all are welcome. It is on in term time every Tuesday 12:30pm – 2:30pm.
