Govanhill Free Church of Scotland | Sunday Services
Our regular Sunday services are at 11am and 6.30pm. They are very simple with singing, prayer, readings from the bible and preaching. Our aim is to worship God with our voices, our hearts and our minds. At the centre of our worship is Jesus Christ, who enables us to have a proper relationship with God. Four times a year we celebrate the Lord's Supper (Communion) at the morning service. Three to four times a year we hold multicultural services in the evening. These are usually conducted in English, Urdu and Punjabi. Services normally last 60-70 minutes. During the morning service there is a crèche for very young children and Sunday School for children aged 3 and upwards.
